PRELIMINARY ROUNDS:
The starting order of the teams is determined by lottery. Each team, consisting of 2 slackliners, gets 60 seconds for their run. The performance of the teams is recorded by the jury via video and rated using the judging software. The results will be published by the jury at least one hour after the end of the preliminary round in the form of a ranking list.
Between each run about 60 seconds are needed for the team change. The entire preliminary round lasts about 60 minutes.
K.O. ROUND:
The 16 best teams determined in the preliminary round compete against each other in a radical knock-out mode. The round of sixteen consists of 8 battles of 2 teams each, with the teams lined up as follows: 1st ranking list place vs. 16th ranking list place, 2nd vs. 15th, 3rd vs. 14th etc. (further details in the appendix).
- Each team has 90 seconds in the duel.
- The clock runs as soon as the team is on the line and stops as soon as the run ends.
- If the team is still on the slackline at the end of their 90 seconds, it gets 15 additional seconds, which will be taken into account for their score.
- For the final evaluation, the tricks and combos must be entered in the judging software.
- After about 1 minute the winning-team of the duel can be announced and the next round starts.
TEAMS:
16 teams of 2 world-class trickliners each are determined by the organizer and flown in to the competition.
Further team starting places („Wild Cards“) will be awarded in an online contest. To participate, slackliners submit uncut video of a maximum of 60 seconds.
