In this Video you will will find 8 exercises with a Slackline to work on your technique, improve your coordination and balance skills, but also to train your core and the often underrated leg strength.

My Name is Axel and I have been Climbing and Slacklining for the last years whenever I have spare time. These complimentary exercises are fun, challenging yet have been totally helpful to progress in my climbing skills from the 6th grade to 7th! Of course the best advice I can give you is to simply climb more! But slacklining really helped me to work on my body position and therefore improve my technique and overall climbing.

Why Slacklining?
Slacklining is an amazing tools for instability training. Not only the exercises I developed are orientated towards specific movements related to climbing - in addition the sebsomotoric muscle groups are efficiently activated through the level of instability and vibration effect. Last but not least... It´s super fun and challenging!

This video is a first in a series to illustrate the possibilities I see in using slacklining as a training device to physically and last but not least also mentally improve my climbing skills.

Please feel free to leave a comment on what else I should be adressing... Which problems I could try to solve with my approach. Always looking forward to helping out!
