Trickline Is Coming Home
– Trickline Worldcup 2022 –
Make Tricklining Great Again
Without any question there will be a spectacular entertainment, because tricklining is the most dynamic discipline in slacklining and combines outdoor with urban freestyle. Strength, coordination, endurance and style are crucial in the acrobatic jumps up to seven meters high, seemingly endless combos and demanding static tricks. The community and the vibe are just as important to many athletes as the latest tricks and spectacular combos.
Robert Kaeding, World Cup organizer, slackline pioneer and founder of GIBBON can hardly wait to offer tricklining a big stage again:
“We believe in the value that a community can provide to itself. That’s why we’ve been offering people who enjoy the challenge of playing with gravity the opportunity to come together for the past 15 years. Tricklining has style, is totally addictive, promotes creativity, trains the body, generates more self-confidence in one’s own abilities with every little success and brings like-minded people together in one place. We have been supporting this sport since 2010 with the first World Championships in Brixen, Italy, and we are always impressed by how far the athletes are developing this sport.”

It’s getting hot in the kettle
Die The Kessel Festival is a sustainable music, sports and culture festival that takes place on the Cannstatter Wasen, in the Reitstadion and on the Neckar in Stuttgart. At the festival premiere in 2019, around 28,000 visitors flocked to the extensive grounds.
Away from Stuttgart’s high culture, the Kessel Festival offers a versatile platform for the entire region. In addition to national and international top stars of the music scene on the main stage, young, up-and-coming musicians and DJs of different genres on the culture stage, well-known (ball) sports clubs and fun sports attractions invite you to join in and watch.
