Are Slackliners really freaks?
During the last years, the sport slacklining developed in a direction where everybody can do it! So Slackliners at these days are “normal” people – kids, teens, students, and families… just anybody! So… Slackliners aren´t “Freaks”… or?

At least the slackline elite feel like at home when they are with the “Freaks” of the FREAKWAVE Festival in Austria. Already the 3^rd time the Slackline WorldCup Austria will be held at the Freakwave! And also this year the Slackline WorldCup will be the highlight of this popular Sports- and Music festival at the Lake of Constance. At the 5 festival days (28^th of August – 1^st of September 2013) the Freakwave has much to offer:
During the days you can try different kind of sports – besides the GIBBON Slacklines there will be SUP, freerunning and even a miniramp.
In the evening the festival continues with concerts and DJs the whole night long! Headliner this year “Blumentopf” and also the “Pullup Orchestra” will be there.
Besides this the “freak market” will come up with a lot of young and trendy fashion designers who will offer clothing, jewellery, accessories and also DEUTER stuff.
