Gibbon SWEL Team – Highline Tour in Morocco

One month, 6 highlines, and a donkey | |

 | This Spring our Project Team with Janek, Faith, Jordan along with Jakub Hanus (all together forming SWEL Team) and an up and coming filmmaker, Kapi, traveled to the heart of Morocco to establish the first highlines in the country. Todra Gorge is a place with epic limestone sport climbing, big walls, and big exposure. Snow in Taghia, the team’s other destination, forced them to remain in Todra the entire month, however this was no let down, it enabled them to establish 6 highlines from 18m in length to 62m, along with a couple scary rope jumps. Besides highlining and climbing, the team was able to soak up Moroccan culture and music, soon becoming familiar faces in the Gorge among the locals. |
