Felix & friend Tizian Freytag hit Australia in late February 2010. The slacklining duo covered all East Coast of Australia taken on a tour by their fellow Aussie riders. It was a real blast and the tour covered, but was not limited to, Sydney, Blue Mountains, Melbourne, Newcastle, Crescent Head, Yamba, Byron Bay, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
There were great demos along the way, not too bad free slacklining & surfing, heaps of fun and quite a few miles in covered in two weeks of traveling.
Gibbon Slacklines Australian Tour ended with a bang: featured on Sydney Morning Herald front page!
On the last day of the tour, the front page of the main newspaper in Australia showed a video about Gibbon Slacklines. The printed Saturday edition contained an article about Gibbon as well.

The Gibbon team toured for two weeks visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Blue Mountains and Byron Bay, recruiting new slackliners everywhere demos and workshops were held.
The media appearances on Channel 10 evening news with Tim Bailey, Channel 9 and on the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald online edition are really pushing the sport forward.
Look around now, there might be a Gibbon slackline set up near you... ;)
